Site Assessment

Our Site Assessment takes into account factors such as premises size, energy requirements, physical site characteristics and the level of expenditure which meets the clients budget commitment. Our Site Assessment informs our work in drawing up recommendations for the Client’s consideration.

Planning Applications

We can conduct the whole planning application process for you. Our experienced planning consultants can reduce planning time and help applications to flow smoothly through the system..

Grant Applications

Once the Planning application is approved we assist the client apply for grants from the appropriate sources which include the Energy savings Trust, Low Carbon Buildings Programme, Scottish Community and Householder Renewables initiative. Site Works & System Installation The installation of a wind turbine involves a number of key elements;

• Concrete foundation is erected
• Connections between turbine generator and premises
• Electrical system installed inside the premises
• Turbine erected and brought online

Where a system is to be connected to the grid we conduct a pre-connection notification with the local electrical company, and then establish a physical connection.

Claiming Fit's

When a grid connection system is installed a Feed in Tariff Agreement is made with the licensed energy supplier. As an accredited supplier a Feed in Tariff payment is made for every Kilowatt/Unit of energy generated. This is paid to you by the energy supplier at an arranged rate. Please note the FIT’s payments are tax free index linked and guaranteed.

Ongoing Operation of your Turbine

We offer a range of service and maintenance plans as well as insurance and extended guarantee schemes to ensure the long term operation of your system

Renewable Energy Insurance

You may like to look into Renewable Energy Insurance. This insurance covers repairs/replacements not covered by the manufacturers guarantee and also covers loss of income if an error occurs with the turbine.
